Who Is Aubonee?

An entrepreneur, dancer, choreographer, female lyricist, TV/ radio personality, mixologist, behavioral specialist; A NATURAL BORN GO GETTER!

I have been dancing since the age of 3. I began taking technique based classes at the age of 5. I’ve taken acting, singing, piano lessons as well. As a choreographer, I’ve had some amazing opportunities. I’ve had the opportunity to choreograph a piece for Lyfe Jenning’s “Dancing in the District” and the kids that I volunteered to teach who attended the Martha O’Bryant Center performed in Nashville, TN. As an artist, I’ve had the opportunity to perform as a member of a group formerly known as “First Class Clique” on BET’s “106th N Park”. I attended Nashville School of the Arts where I majored in Dance.I taught dance for several schools in the Nashville community. Also, myself along with 7 of my high school colleagues were granted the opportunity to perform “SHE” on Broadway in New York City, NY.

After I graduated high school, I attended Tennessee State University, and then Middle Tennessee State University until I finally decided to stop wasting time and do what I have always wanted to do- which was to OPEN A DANCE STUDIO! In 2015, I launched my dance company Candy Coated Choreography. At first, my target customers, were children who had a passion for the art of dance, but could not afford the high priced dance classes offered in Nashville, TN and surrounding areas. I wanted to be able to give those students an ADVANTAGE. In order to do this I have made it my mission to not only offer them dance classes, but so much more. At Candy Coated Choreography, I offer my students curriculum, vocabulary, technique, along with enjoyable, yet memorable bonding experiences at an affordable cost.

Once I gained Candy Coated Kids, I began to tap into the adult dance market by offering “STELLA Sexy Fitness” heels classes for customers who wanted that “groove back”, and “Twerk Fitness” cardio work out classes for customers who wanted to lose weight in a judge- free zone while enjoying a work out with a LIVE DJ in a positive group fitness environment.

In 2022, I finally turned my “Passion” into “Purpose” by teaching Dance Fitness and Mobility Therapy to individuals with special needs. I created “Maximize Your Mobility LLC” in 2024 to be able to connect with them through the art of dance. My vision is to empower individuals with mental disabilities to achieve greater physical freedom, confidence, and joy through the transformative power of dance fitness and mobility therapy. We strive to create an inclusive, uplifting environment where every step inspires growth, connection, and a celebration of abilities.

IN CLOSING, I AM A TALENTED, AMBITIOUS, MOTIVATED, DRIVEN, AND BLESSED INDIVIDUAL. I WILL NOT STOP UNTIL I MASTER ALL OF MY TALENTS AND ABILITIES.

MY GOAL IS TO USE MY TALENTS TO TOUCH THOSE WHO SHARE THE SAME PASSION AS I DO AND MAKE SUCH AN IMPACT ON THEM, THAT IT MOTIVATES THEM TO FOLLOW THEIR DREAM AND INSPIRES THEM TO DO WHATEVER THEY ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT AS WELL.
